Basically Biddy’s is a small, family-run business with a big heart. We're a mother-daughter team creating meaningful, personalised embroidered items for babies, kids, and adults. Every stitch is made with love—and a whole lot of lived experience.

The idea for Basically Biddy's began when I became a solo mum to my first son and couldn’t find the unique, thoughtful baby items I was looking for. So, I started making them myself. As my family has grown (my two beautiful boys are now 4 and 1), so too has the business. What started as a few handmade baby gifts has blossomed into a much-loved brand known for high-quality, custom embroidery that brings a little joy into the everyday.

We run our business from a busy, love-filled multigenerational home. My mum, who is courageously living with terminal bone marrow cancer, has been by my side from the start—her strength, creativity, and care are woven into every piece we make.

At Basically Biddy’s, it’s not just about the product. It’s about the feeling it brings—joy, connection, and a personal touch that makes someone’s day a little brighter.
